Monday Morning Mediabase Update: Apr 28-May 4th

There are six Mediabase Morning Milestones this May morning – and they represent 4 different reality singing shows. Plus the missing post from Friday.

There two songs debuting. Jennifer Hudson from American Idol has “Walk it Out” racing up the charts and debuting in the top 40 of UAC. Meanwhile, Australian Idol’s Guy Sebastian appears on the Pop chart with his dance club hit “Like A Drum”.

One Direction also has a song debuting on a second chart. Representing X-Factor, the band’s “You & I” arrives on the HAC chart in the top 50 and moves into the top 40 on Pop.

Cassadee Pope from The Voice gets her second single “I Wish I Could Break Your Heart” to break into the top 40 on Country. The Swon Brother’s “Later On” returns to the top 30.

Mandisa is always a powerhouse on CAC. Her second single, “Back to You”, from her “Overcomer” album goes top 20.
