Five Milestones to celebrate on Christmas Eve’s Eve.
We see three Christmas songs achieve milestones this week. Danny Gokey has two of them. “Angels We Have Heard on High” reaches new heights as is it enters the top 30 on CAC while “The Holidays are Here” debuts. Both of these are tracks from his 2019 “The Greatest Gift: A Christmas Collection” (there is also a third song from this album on the CAC chart – “The Prayer”).
Blog Member Amy Beth noted (thanks!) that Olivia Rox from Season 15 was on the AC chart last week. This week, Olivia Rox achieves another milestone with “It’s Christmastime” moving into the top 40 on AC. Returning to the AC chart this week is Pentatonix’s “Grown-up Christmas List”.
With the airwaves awash in Christmas tunes, it’s tough for non-Christmas songs to hit milestones or even retain their bullets. Harry Styles manages to do both hitting double milestones for a third week in a row. “Adore You” hits top 20 on both Pop and HAC.
