Monday Morning Mediabase 11/11/2019

Four milestones for today’s Monday Morning Mediabase Memo.

Niall Horan’s debut single from his TBA second album hits top 15 on the HAC chart. “Nice to Meet You” is also on the Pop and AC chart. His former bandmate Louis Tomlinson also hits a milestone this week.
“We Made It” is Louis’s latest single which went for adds last week and enters the top 50 of Pop this week.

Over on HAC, we also see “Señorita” from Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes retake the number one spot.

Fantasia vaults back onto the UAC chart with “PTSD” featuring Tank & The Bonfyre. This is the second track released off of “Sketchbook” her new album October 11th of this year.

Amy Beth pointed out that Season 11/12 Auditioned Johnny Keyser has a song on the HAC chart. “If We Never Met” is at 21 on the chart and he uses the stage name John K. Johnny Keyser was listed as one of the 4 that might be wildcarded into the top 24/25 in Season 11, but it was a bit of a charade since he was never contacted. The only one really considered was Jermaine Jones (who was later disqualified). Despite being yanked around for Idol, he tried again the next year once again just missing out in making the top 24. Johnny Keyser became the first Idol contestant to chart an album on Billboard before the season ended. We don’t normally cover Idol contestants, but Johnny’s story certainly had some twists and turns. Best of luck!
