Monday Morning Mediabase 10/18/2021

I’m having trouble accessing any charts other than HAC or AC this morning, so today’s report is abbreviated. We do have one milestone despite Adele hoovering up much of the oxygen in the room (welcome back, Adele!).

Jax came in third on the 14th season of American Idol (Nick Fradiani would go on to win over Clark Beckham). Since her time on the show she released an independent album, battled thyroid cancer, became a TikTok star and was signed to Atlantic Records. Her first release under that contract is “Like My Father” debuted on HAC this week. The song features her dad who was a fireman injured during the 9/11 attacks on the WTC.

Over on the BB200, Morgan Wallen’s “Dangerous: The Double Album” is 8th with 42K in equivalent album sales (+6%).

Camila Cabello:
“Don’t Go Yet”: 35 HAC (33)

Duncan Laurence:
“Arcade”: 10 AC (9)

Gabby Barrett:
“The Good Ones”: 14 AC (13)

Jax:
“Like My Father”: ^46 HAC (54)

Upcoming Adds:
October 18: Country: Chase Rice: “If I were Rock & Roll”
October 18: Country: Kelly Clarkson and Chris Stapleton: “Glow”
October 18: Country: Scotty McCreery: “Damn Strait”

Stats collected on Monday Morning. Previous week’s stats are from the previous Monday.
