From American Idol Season 8, we see Danny Gokey achieve yet another milestone on CAC with “Stand in Faith”. This week, the song enters the top 30 on CAC.”Stand in Faith” is from Danny’s 2021 album “Jesus People”.

Chris Daughtry comes from the very successful Season 5 of Idol and he is the biggest success story of the season. His band is currently working “Heavy is the Crown” which has entered the top 10 on Active Rock. Their album “Dearly Beloved” comes out September 17th. Returning to the top 20 on UR&B is Jennifer Hudson with “Here I am (Singing My Way Home)”

Duncan Laurence was a semi-finalist in The Voice: Season 5 (Dutch version) and won the Eurovision contest with “Arcade”. The song rises to new heights as it becomes top 5 on HAC.

Season 2 of X-Factor USA featured Fifth Harmony which was a group formed from girls who auditioned as singles. Two of those girls were Camila Cabello and Normani. Camila’s “Don’t Go Yet” goes top 15 on Pop while Normani’s “Wild Side” becomes top 20 on Urban. Both singles are likely building the groundworks for upcoming albums.

Finally, we see The Voice’s Morgan Wallen slip a toe over the line after his scandal earlier this year. Morgan has largely be absent from radio for the last 7 months, but his album released around that time continues to sell well. “Sand in My Boots” goes for adds this week and debuts this week in the top 50 on Country. The single is off his “Dangerous: The Double Album” which is fifth this week on the BB200 with 43K (-3%) in equivalent album sales.
