  2. HDD Predictions

    Ariana Grande’s Sweetener is shaping up as the second-biggest debut of her career, behind the 244k tally for My Everything, released four years ago this month. Here’s our initial projection:

    Ariana Grande (Republic) 200-225k total activity, 110-125k album

  3. James Durbin = 962 fans = gained 4 fans
    Fantasia = 659 fans = gained 2 fans
    Caleb Johnson = 490 fans = gained 1 fan
    Kimberly Nichole = 183 pledgers ; 106% = gained 1 pledger (14 days left)
    Karl Loxley = 107 pledgers ; 35% = gained 1 pledger (18 days left)

  4. Lauren Daigle’s “You Say” has climbed back up to #2 on I-Tunes. She trails only a new song from Ariana Grande!

  5. That’s something you don’t see very much any more — an artist with 100+K projected both in album sales and in streams

    I remember the first time I heard her perform…she was doing a Christmas tree lighting thing with Kris Allen and a couple of other artists. Wouldn’t have predicted back then that she would’ve become this huge superstar, even though she had a great voice and already had a decent sized fanbase
