Monday Morning Mediabase 08/03/2020

There are three milestones to kick of the month of August (one from each of our major reality singing competition shows).

Harry Styles, formerly of One Direction, earns his second solo number one on the Pop charts. “Watermelon Sugar” is the second single sent to radio from his second album. Prior to it, “Adore You” also went to number one on pop and it is still in the top 5 of all 3 mainstream formats. “Watermelon Sugar is also in the top 15 on HAC and top 30 of AC. Harry Styles was on X-Factor.

“Miracles” from Colton Dixon hits a second milestone in as many weeks. Last week, the song went top 20 and this week it went top 15 on CAC. This is Colton’s first single with his new label. Colton Dixon was on Idol.

Finally, representing The Voice is Morgan Wallen. Morgan’s collaboration with Diplo goes top 20 on Pop. While Morgan has had number one songs on Country, this is his first top 20 song on Country.
