Monday Morning Mediabase 06/26/2017

Technical difficulties prevent us from reporting on Milestones this Monday Morning. AllAccess had a site upgrade this weekend – they moved to the cloud which seems to be raining down problems. They hope to be back soon. As most people source their data from there (including kworb), there is no recent data available (last real chart update was Friday).

In other news, Billboard confirms that Lorde had the number one album (her first). She becomes the third woman in as many weeks to top the chart (that hasn’t happened since 2012 when Taylor Swift, Alicia Keys, Whitney Houston and Colbie Caillat teamed up to dominate the charts). Lorde is the only solo female in the top 10 (although, that phenomena is partly due to streams overwhelming sales, rap being such a big genre in the streaming game and rap being an extremely male dominated genre).
