Gabby Barrett keeps notching milestones with “I Hope”. This week, the song went top 5 in AC making it the fourth format in which the song has done that (Country, Pop and HAC).
Representing the X-Factor with flair is Harry Styles as his third single from his second album goes top 15 on Pop. “Golden” is the third single from that album to rise as high as 15th.
Over to the Voice, we see Vedo move into the top 20 on Urban with “You Got It”.
Perhaps this is too obscure to track (let me know), but Duncan Laurence who appeared on the Dutch version of “The Voice” moved into the top 40 on the HAC chart this week with “Arcade”. “Arcade” is a Eurovision Song representing The Netherlands.
Morgan Wallen may have turned off some fans, but not all. Billboard reports that he tops the BB200 for a 4th consecutive week. His equivalent album sales actually went up this week to 149K (+14%). “Dangerous: The Double Album” had 118K SEAS (+3%, 159.76M streams), 25K sales (+102%) and 6K TEAs (+67%). Not since Shaina Twain’s “Up” in 2002 has a Country album spent its first four weeks on the top of the BB200. Meanwhile, his latest single “7 Summers” tumbled from 15th to 34th on the airplay chart.
