Five milestones this week to celebrate Feb fifth with including a song with “five” in the title hitting top 5.
Scotty McCreery, winner of Season 10 of American Idol, goes top 5 with “Five More Minutes”. Scotty first the single when he was between labels and it became the first song to chart on the Mediabase Country chart without support from a label. Scotty has since singed with “Triple Tigers” and the single is the debut from his upcoming album in March (“Seasons Change”).
The original winner of American Idol (and newest Voice coach) Kelly Clarkson has her second single from her latest album debut on HAC. “I Don’t Think About You” is set to go for adds on Feb 26th, but it has already debuted in the top 50.
Also debuting this week is “You Are the Reason” from Calum Scott. Calum rose to fame on the ninth season of BGT where he came in sixth. “You are the Reason” debuts on the AC chart.
Another debut on the AC chart this week is from a fellow Brit. James Arthur from X-Factor UK is working his debut single from his TBA third album. “Naked” has already made an appearance on the HAC chart and debuts in the top 40 on the AC chart.
Finally, we have Camilla Cabello whose second official single from her “Camila” album hits a milestone on HAC. “Never Be the Same” moved into the top 40.
Mandisa’s “Bleed the Same” returns to the top 15 on CAC.
