Monday Morning Mediabase 01/27/2020

Four milestones to close out the first month of this year.

There are two milestones in Country as two songs hit top 20. Morgan Wallen from The Voice is still working singles from his 2018 album “If I Know Me”. “Chasin’ You” is his fourth single from the album and his third to hit top 20 (the previous two went to number 1). Gabby Barrett from the Idol reboot is looking for her first big hit and “I Hope” just might be it. It’s her first song to go top 20 and I believe it is the first song from any of the ABC Idol contestants to get that high on an airplay chart.

Two X-Factor contestants are also featured going top 30. Harry Style’s “Adore You” reaches new heights on AC going top 30 on AC (it is also top 15 on Pop and HAC) while Camila Cabello’s “My Oh My” goes top 30 on HAC (the single is also top 30 on Rhythmic ad top 20 on Pop). Both songs are from albums released late last year.
