Saturday Night Live broadcast another “at home” episode last night, with Brad Pitt serving as host (sort of!) and Miley Cyrus as musical guest.
SNL has done a good job presenting the show’s comic talent remotely. Although, Weekend Update is very odd watching without a studio audience! American Idol is about to go “live” with the same format. Although not really LIVE. Not even SNL has figured out how to broadcast at home in a truly live format.
But I digress! The former The Voice coach performed a tender and emotional rendition of Pink Floyd’s classic “Wish You Were Here” as she sat by a fireside and a guitarist strummed along. It captures the sentiment many of us feel, stuck at home, missing loved ones.
Miley served as The Voice coach on seasons 11 and 13 in 2016 and 2017.
