Matt Terry Joins the Remix of Enrique Iglesias’ ‘Subeme La Radio’

Who would have thought.

Last week, X Factor UK season 13 winner Matt Terry revealed that he is releasing a single today. Earlier this week it was confirmed that he is joining the Spanglish remix of Enrique Iglesias‘ current single ‘Subeme La Radio’ (Turn Up the Radio). Enrique released the original version of the single in February 2017. It features Descemer Bueno and Zion & Lennox.

The music video was released on February 24, 2017 (almost 5 months ago) and has 565 million views at the moment.

Since then, Enrique’s label released several remixes of the songs by DJs. Then started coming remixes with different featured artists.

The first one had Enrique, Descemer Bueno and Jacob Forever.

Then came a remix that featured Enrique and Simon Cowell’s latin boyband CNCO.

Earlier this week, Spanglish remix was released into the wild, featuring Enrique and Jamaican rapper Sean Paul.

Today, Matt Terry joined Enrique and Sean Paul on the Spanglish remix.

To top it all off, the salsa version of ‘Subeme La Radio’ is out today and features Enrique, Descemer Bueno, Zion & Lennox and Gilberto Santa Rosa.

It looks like Sony Music will be now pushing the song in the English speaking markets. Latin Pop is very hot right now with ‘Despacito’ domination in the charts all around the world and many other Latin hits getting traction outside of their regular markets. For example, for the last two weeks the most played songs on radio stations in my country Slovenia were ‘Despacito’ and ‘Subeme La Radio’.

This is Matt Terry’s very first venture into Latin pop music. According to The Sun, Matt is fluent in Spanish after living in Spain with his grandparents for eight years.
