Mariah Carey delivered a Christmas surprise for her fans at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night (Dec 9). During the New York City stop of her Merry Christmas One and All! tour, Mariah welcomed Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson to the stage to perform “Oh Santa!”
The song was originally released in 2010 as part of Mariah’s sophomore Christmas set, Merry Christmas II You. Mariah, Jennifer and Ariana joined forces in 2020 for a new version of the song for the iconic singer’s 2020 Apple TV+ holiday special.

Mariah introduced the two on stage saying, “…It’s very exciting, because this is unexpected, yet amazing,” She continued, “We have two Christmas angels here to sing a song called ‘Oh Santa’ with me. And you wouldn’t believe it! We have J-Hud and Miss Ari!”
At this point, two backup dancers escorted Jennifer and Ariana to the front of the stage. Ariana has been blonde for a while to accommodate her role as Glinda in the upcoming movies based on the Broadway musical, Wicked.

Jennifer posted photos of herself before she went on stage to Instagram. She wrote, “I had so much fun performing “Oh Santa!” at @thegarden last night with @mariahcarey and @arianagrande ! Best holiday memory ever!”
