Get through all 11 minutes of “Too Many Cooks,” the new short from Adult Swim and I think you’ll agree it’s one of the weirdest bits you’ve ever seen. It starts out normal enough–as a parody of 70’s and 80’s title sequences. Those of you around during those decades will recognize all of the tropes. And I have to say, the set decoration and costuming is A+.
But then, about half way through the film, it’s as if that hit of acid the creator took before he sat down to write suddenly kicked in, and thing becomes spectacularly surreal. When I watched it early on Friday, I decided it was too bizarre to share. But then a funny thing happened. The film went totally viral. So what the heck. Here it is. See if YOU can get through all 11 minutes! Heh. Hopefully the song doesn’t get stuck in your head. It might.
