Maddie Poppe, helped usher in the holidays at Disney Parks around the world when she performed at Epcot Center at Walt Disney World in Florida on the ABC special, The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration.
On the special, which aired Thursday night (Nov 29) on ABC, the reigning American Idol winner performed a sweet rendition of the Christmas classic “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.”
Afterward, Maddie chatted with co-host Jordan Fisher about the Christmas traditions she celebrates with friends and family back home in Iowa. Aside from baking cookies and listening to holiday music, Christmas is the one time of the year Maddie and her family all get to be together.
And Maddie is finally going to take that Hawaii trip she won on American Idol (along with runner-up and boyfriend Caleb Lee Hutchinson). She’s mostly looking forward to just relaxing and “doing nothing.”
