Adam Lambert not only voiced the evil villain Emperor Maximus for the animated feature Playmobil: The Movie, but he contributed original music as well.
The song “Give the People What They Want” gives the American Idol season 8 alum an opportunity to chew the scenery in an absolutely fun and fabulous way.
The character is a campy take on the megalomaniacle Roman Emperor. Maximus overseas the coliseum games which the unfortunate heroes of the movie stumble upon.

Playmobil: The Movie will follow the adventures of siblings Charlie and Marla. When the former unexpectedly disappears into the animated universe of Playmobil, Marla must go on a quest to bring him home.
The animated film also stars Meghan Trainor, Daniel Radcliffe, and Jim Gaffigan.
