Lee DeWyze has announced his 3rd studio album, Oil & Water, set to be released on February 12, 2016.
The American Idol season 9 winner’s 2010 post-Idol debut, Live it Up, was released via RCA/19R. The Vanguard label released his 2013 album, Frames. This time around, Lee is releasing his record through a deal with Sanchie Entertaiment, utilizing the crowdfunding site, Pledgemusic, where pre-orders are available now.
A purchase will provide access to all behind-the-scenes content. Merchandise available includes $20 for the CD, $65 for a CD with poster bundle, signed CDs for $30, a private album release performance for $125, and more items such as signed lyric sheets and personally designed cell phone covers.
If you’ve got the cash to burn, you can purchase full day access to a studio writing session for $1800, an acoustic house concert for $5000, and items Lee used to write and record music–an acoustic guitar at $12,500 and studio microphone for $5,500. The singer has also booked a tour to promote the album. Lee hits the road for a series of college dates beginning January 20. February 12, album debut day, he’ll play the Cutting Room in New York City Tickets are available now.
