Lea Michele, who plays the star-bound songstress Rachel, on the breakout Fox hit Glee, tells MTV News that she really, really, really wants to sing with Adam Lambert.
“I love Adam Lambert! I want to sing with him so badly, ” she said. “If they don’t let me [sing with him] on the show, I would just in life. I just want to sing with him so badly. He’s just such an incredible vocal performer, and I’m such a huge fan.
“I feel like I’d be getting to work out at the gym with the best trainer in the world, ” she continued. “You want to work out with someone who’s ripped and is going to train you well. That’s what I think about when I think of Adam Lambert. I just think he’s awesome.”
Cory Monteith, sitting next to Lea as she gushes, deadpans, “Lea, just tell Adam Lambert what you feel.” Cory, who plays Finn, the high school football star turned gleekster, thinks Adam is pretty talented too. “He’s a really terrific singer, ” says Cory.
If Glee co-creator, Ryan Murphy gets his way, Adam will appear in a cameo in an upcoming Glee episode. But Adam told Ryan Seacrest last week on his radio show, that he hasn’t heard anything official from the show yet.
