Orange is the New Black star Laverne Cox is set to be a guest judge for the next season of America’s Got Talent, reports E News.
NBC previously announced that rapper, producer and “King of Snapchat,” DJ Khaled (He mentored during the Battle Rounds for Team Alicia Keys on The Voice season 12) and comedian/talk show host Chris Hardwick would also be sitting at the AGT judges table.
Announcement of the fourth and final guest judge is still to come.
The guest judges will appear on the “Judge Cuts” rounds beginning in mid-July. Each week will feature a new guest judge with the ability to “Golden Buzzer” a contestant straight through to the live shows.
Last season, “Judge Cuts” guest judges included Louis Tomlinson, Reba McEntire, George Lopez and Ne-Yo.
Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B. and Howie Mandel will be returning as judges. Taking the place of departing host Nick Cannon will be model and America’s Next Top Model host, Tyra Banks.
America’s Got Talent premieres Tuesday, May 30 at 8 pm on NBC.
