‘SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE’ CLOSES OUT SEASON 42 WITH ALL-STAR LINEUPS – “Saturday Night Live” has set its hosts and musical guests for the last three episodes of its 42nd season. Chris Pine will make his hosting debut on the May 6 telecast. He stars in the upcoming film adaptation of “Wonder Woman,” set to premiere June 2. He will be joined by the long awaited “SNL” debut of LCD Soundsystem, who will be playing material from their forthcoming new album. Melissa McCarthy, who has appeared this season as White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer, will be returning May 13 to the “SNL” stage for the fifth time as host. She will be joined by musical guest HAIM, who is set to release their highly anticipated sophomore album this summer. Dwayne Johnson will host for the fifth time on the May 20 season finale. Johnson is starring in the film adaptation of “Baywatch,” premiering May 25. Justin Guarini to Join Beth Malone in The Unsinkable Molly Brown – Recent In Transit star Justin Guarini will appear as Vincenzo in the Muny’s upcoming production of The Unsinkable Molly Brown, running July 21-27 at the St. Louis outdoor theater. Jessica Meuse: An American Idol with American Determination – Hey Zeus: What was your thought process with performing your own song at the audition? JM: During auditions, I decided that I was going to get selected or rejected performing my own song. The judges were going to choose me or reject me, based on MY music, not someone else’s. Hey Zeus: So after season 13, and finishing 4th you when on tour. What was life like on the American Idol LIVE! Tour? Is touring/living on the road, something you could do full time? JM: I absolutely loved it. Because I moved around a lot growing up, feel I was better prepared for life on the road.
