UPDATE: Kris Allen confirms the co-write via twitter! “I guess some have already seen but I cowrote a song on the new Matthew Morrison record called “Still Got Tonight.” Album is up for preorder”
Glee’s Matt Morrison is getting ready to release his debut album. It’s got all-star duets with Gwyneth Paltrow and Elton John, and a single called “Summer Rain” that’s getting AC play.
But do you know what else it possibly has? This is unconfirmed, but ASCAP has a song called “Still Got Tonight” with Matthew Listed as a performer, and the co-writers as Kris Allen (!!!) Andrew Frampton and Stephen Allen Kipner! (Andrew and Stephen co-wrote “Live Like We’re Dying” and “Written All Over My Face”).
Kris traveled to London in 2009 to co-write songs with the duo for his debut album.
