Kree Harrison & Cassadee Pope To Perform On CMT Music Awards!

CMT announced today that American Idol Season 12 runner-up Kree Harrison and Voice Season 3 winner Cassadee Pope will perform on the Nationwide Insurance Stage at the CMT Awards on June 5th. As has been the case in previous years, when Lauren Alaina, Casey James, and Scotty McCreery performed on that stage at the 2012 CMT Music Awards, these performances will be short “bumper” performances that air as the CMT Awards go to commercial.

For Kree, this performance will come the day after she fulfills a longtime dream by making her debut at the Grand Ole Opry. Kree’s busy week at CMA Music Fest will continue when she plays for Team Opry at the City Of Hope Celebrity Softball Challenge on Saturday, June 8th, facing off against Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery among others on Team After Midnite.

Season 4 American Idol winner Carrie Underwood (a nominee for Video Of The Year and Female Video Of The Year) and Season 12 American Idol judge Keith Urban are scheduled to perform on the CMT Awards main stage. Season 1 AI winner Kelly Clarkson is also nominated (for Collaborative Video Of The Year).
