That duet between Kelly Clarkson and Chris Daughtry recorded by producer Howard Benson may have been scrapped, according to Vote for the Worst
From a poster at the fansite Kelly Clarkson Express:
Chris went in and redid his vocals and the label didn’t like it. There were also 2 other songs that they were considering to be the duet if the first one didn’t work out but they couldn’t get the 3 of them together again at the same time, as of now the duet has been scrapped.
Hm. If this is true, I’m a little disappointed. I want to hear what they sound like together. If the duet has been scrapped, maybe we’ll get lucky and the track will leak onto the internet.
Kelly’s album is set for the first quarter of next year. Daughtry’ next release is headed for a summer ’09 release.
