Kelly Clarkson got a big surprise on Saturday (March 31) during the last stop on her Meaning of Life tour.
While the American Idol O.G. winner and The Voice coach performed the emotional “Piece by Piece” in Greenville, South Carolina, her husband Brandon Blackstock walked on stage holding a guitar. As her guitarist stepped back and Brandon stepped in to take his place, Kelly turned about and got a major shock.
Kelly immediately laughs and bursts into tears. Of course, the song is about her husband and how he filled the empty hole created after her biological dad abandoned her as a child.

Kelly’s tour, her first in three years, kicked off in January with opening acts Kelsea Ballerini and The Voice 14 winner and Team Kelly member, Brynn Cartelli.
Every night, Kelly live streamed a segment of her concert dubbed “A Minute and a Glass of Wine” which began with behind-the-scenes streams of her home and work life. During the segment, Kelly chatted with her audience before performing a cover handpicked for the evening.
The Cyndi Lauper classic “Time After Time” was the singer’s very last cover, performed as a duet with Kelsea Ballerini.
At her penultimate tour stop, the night before in Nashville, Reba McEntire joined her on stage to sing a medley of favs.
