The Ke#sha rehab story has taken a very strange turn. After the pop singer admitted herself to rehab to deal with an eating disorder, her mother sounded off to the press blaming producer, Dr. Luke’s fat shaming of the singer for her downfall.
Now, mom, Pebe Sebert, has checked herself INTO THE SAME REHAB FACILITY that is treating her daughter:
The singer’s mother tells PEOPLE in an exclusive statement that she is entering the same Chicago-area rehab center as her daughter.
“I’m checking myself into Timberline Knolls today for post-traumatic stress disorder, at Ke$ha’s urging,” says Pebe Sebert, 57.
“This whole Dr. Luke thing has almost torn our family apart and taken over my life, and Ke$ha wants me to heal along with her,” Sebert tells PEOPLE.
Well, that’s one way to shut mama up. But I wonder how healthy it is to have mother daughter in recovery at the same time in the same facility? Whatever it is mom is recovering from isn’t made clear in the article–foot in mouth disease?
