Brooke White – Managed by Sanctuary Artists, Brooke is in the midst of finalizing a record deal. She plans on releasing her album High Hopes and Heartbreak in June. Brooke describes it as “Kind of Eagles mixed with Carly Simon. It’s not Country, It’s California Country.”
Syesha Mercado – Syesha Mercado is currently in Los Angeles, putting together enough material for an album. In between, she’s taking acting lessons. On February 19, she performs at a benefit for the Amer-I-Can program back home in Florida.
Kristy Lee Cook – In an interview done after her drop (for the second time) from Arista/Nashville, Kristy Lee pointed a finger at Carrie Underwood as a source of her problems with the label. She regrets that now, “She’s an awesome talent and I’m not blaming her, ” says Kristy.” Right now, she’s in Oregon planning for a July wedding and working with her rescue horse foundation. She and her managers are talking with other labels.
David Cook began his spring tour last week. David Archuleta begins his on tour on the 20th.
Jason Castro, (who appears to be in negotiations for something, at least that’s what he hints in his vlogs) David Hernandez and Chikezie were unavailable for interviews.
