Perez Hilton, who attended the American Idol results show Wednesday night, told Ryan Seacrest yesterday on his KISS FM radio show that nobody at Idol knew that Katy Perry planned to pimp Adam Lambert with her flashy white Adam-engraved cape.

Also, slightly controversially, Perez says that Adam told him after the show that once he’s able to speak to the media (that won’t happen until the competition is over), “he will be who he is and proud of that.”
Perez also claims that Adam admitted he was gay in their conversation.
