Since her CBS show Scorpion has been cancelled, American Idol season 5 singer Katharine McPhee can extend her run in Broadway’s Waitress.

Brynn Cartelli on Winning The Voice and What’s Next – “I really mean that,” she told Parade.com. “I honestly never thought that I would win. Until my name was called, I didn’t believe it.” While it hasn’t quite sunk in yet that she’s this season’s winner of The Voice, Brynn already has plans to get some music out as quickly as she can. Kyla Jade welcomed home with block party – Hundreds of fans gathered outside the Topeka Performing Arts Center to welcome singer Kyla Jade back to her hometown. The free event was sponsored by CoreFirst Bank and Trust. Jade said fans encouraged her all the way through the competition. “Topeka did not have to rally behind me the way that they have, and it has just been such a blessing,” she said. The Topeka Fire Department drove her to the party in a firetruck. A drum line and cheerleaders from her high school, Shawnee Heights, performed along with other local artists.
