Kate Middleton and Prince William of England welcomed their second child on May 2. It’s a Princess of Cambridge for the happy couple, who have not announced a name for their new bundle of joy yet. Apparently, it can’t be announced until she meets her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth.
Older brother, Prince George, was brought to the hospital by his father to meet his new sister. According to People magazine, Kate was only in labor 3 hours until she gave birth at 8:34 am.
In a statement, Kensington Palace said, “Their Royal Highnesses would like to thank all staff at the hospital for the care and treatment they have all received. They would also like to thank everyone for their warm wishes.”
