There were some solid skits last night, on Saturday Night Live, despite the minimal impact host James Franco had on the proceedings. Actually, I found musical guest, Nicki Minaj, funnier in the bits where she was featured. I wonder if acting is a part of her plan to conquer the world?

CuterThanDaveFranco.com is James email. Heh. We also get to see their “leaked” cell phone photos. It’s easy for male actors to joke about it, actresses in that very real situation have had to suffer humiliation they’ll never know. Oh, and James, joking about your poor judgement regarding instagram? Maybe it’s better to let that one alone.
James Franco and surprise guest Seth Rogen address the embarrassing personal photos of them that were leaked as a result of the Sony hack.
Peter Pan Live Parody
Tonkerbell (Aidy Bryant) returns and joins the cast of Peter Pan Live! starring Allison Williams (Cecily Strong) and Christopher Walken (James Franco).
Of course, Tonkerbell had to return for this Peter Pan Live! parody. The salient points were hit: That Allison Williams couldn’t pull off the boy thing (“That story makes me want to dance with my shapely boy legs!”) and James’ hilarious impersonation of Walken’s most wooden moments. Plus SCARY SWORD FIGHT. Not. Tonkerbell was the least funny thing in this bit, to be honest.
Jingle Ballerz
MTV presents Hip-Hop Nativity, starring Rihanna (Sasheer Zamata), Eminem (Taran Killam), Riff Raff (James Franco), Rick Ross (Kenan Thompson), Justin Bieber (Kate McKinnon), Beyoncé (Nicki Minaj) and Kanye West (Jay Pharoah).
Any skit that offers the opportunity for Kate McKinnon to dust off her Bieber impression is fine by me. Oh. And Nicki Minaj as Beyonce. Naturally, Kanye is the baby Jesus.
Porn Stars Sell Yachts
Brecky (Vanessa Bayer) and her friend (Cecily Strong) hawk Sunseeker Yachts with a little help from Captain Jack Swallow (James Franco) and James Franco (Seth Rogen).
Seth Rogan plays James Franco in this new Porn Stars skit. James is Captain Jack Swallow. Pornstars, with its hilarious malapropisms, is one of my favorite recurring bits.
Star Wars Parody
In a galaxy far, far away, Han Solo (Taran Killam), Princess Leia (Bobby Moynihan) and Luke Skywalker (James Franco) face a new foe: old age.

Kim Kardashian Explains Her Nude Photos
Kim Kardashian (Nicki Minaj) explains her Paper magazine shoot was misinterpreted because the photos were missing the correct background.
I would have loved Nasim Pedrad in a cameo, but Nicki more than held her own here.
