James Durbin and Wind-up Records will send two singles from his Memories of a Beautiful Disaster album to radio. Top 40 stations will get a song called “Love Me Bad” and “Stand Up” from Official Gameday Music of the NFL Vol. 2, will go to rock radio.
Memories of a Beautiful Disasterwill be available everywhere on November 21 and will contain a mixture of songs written by others and co-written by James.
James has co-written with James Michael from Sixx:A.M., Dj Ashba from Nikki Sixx’s band and Marty Fredrickson (Aerosmith, Carrie Underwood, David Cook).
Motley Crue’s Mick Mars played guitar on the record. Daughtry producer Howard Benson produced the disc, and by coincidence, James album will be released the same day as Daughtry’s 3rd studio album, Break the Spell.
Daughtry has also released two singles two different formats–“Renegade” to rock radio and “Crawling Back to You” to Hot AC.
