James Durbin, the American Idol Season 10 4th place finisher, debuts “Parachute,” his first new song since he released “Love Me Bad” and “Stand Up” in 2011.
“‘Parachute’ was the tenth song I wrote for the new album and as soon as we finished in the studio I knew it had to be the first single,” James says. “I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”
You can download “Parachute” on iTunes Friday, November 22. And tomorrow, begins pre-orders for James’ new album CELEBRATE which is set to come out on April 8.
Five dollars will be donated to the National Tourette Syndrome Association for every ablum pre-order purchased. It’s a charity near and dear to James’ heart, as he is diagnosed with Tourettes as well as Aspberger’s syndrome.
So James gave metal a chance. Now he’s releasing a song squarely in the pop rock/adult contemporary genre. Check out James “Parachute” below. There are no shortages of big choruses here!
