Unlike last week’s Los Angeles auditions, American Idol 10 found some talent up the California coast in San Francisco, CA.
After the jump, check out some pre-Idol music from a few of last night’s talented hopefuls.
We know James Durbin, the Aspergers-afflicted singer loves him some classic rock from his audition (here and here), check out his rendition of the Beatles’ “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” and Led Zepplin’s “Whole Lotta Love”.
There are no You Tubes currently of Colombia refugee, Julie Zorrilla (Audition – Audition), but she’ recorded an EP at 17. Not surprising, considering how polished she already seems at only 20 years old. Listen to a cut from the record called “About Us”
Stefano Langone (Audition – Audition) survived a horrific car crash just so he could make it to Hollywood! (tm Steven Tyler). He performs a couple of original tunes, “The Right Path” and “Perfect Stranger”, accompanying himself on piano.
And finally, Clint Jun Gamboa (Audition) will probably never live down the fact that he wrote and sang two songs for what’s become a cult classic, and the “worst movie ever made”, Tommy Wiseau’s The Room. Also, Clint performs covers of “Purple Rain” and “Faithfully”.
