Aerosmith did have the highest revenue from a single concert ($2.64M in Quito, Ecuador – that was a profitable swing south for the boys despite the tricky bathtubs). Dolly has the highest report with $3.79M in Brisbane, Australia, but that was for three concerts. The woman is a legend.
Meanwhile, Billboard predicts that Buble will sell another staggering 400-500K this week. That guy is on track to having the second best selling album of the year and cruising past 2M. The album is currently in 4th with 1.52M in sales behind Adele (5M), Gaga (2M) and Lil Wayne (1.8M).
This is traditionally the second best week for album sales for the year with next week being the best. Most of those sales will be physical albums as people look for gifts for others. Digital sales tend to sag in the last two weeks before Christmas, but look for them to skyrocket on the 26th.
