Final sales and TEAs/SEAs are in and Muse will have its first number one. Taylor Swift rides strong singles for 2nd on the BB200 (4th on sales) while Of Monsters and Men debuts in 3rd (2nd on sales). Florence and the Machine are 4th in their second week. The Rolling Stones may have been around more than 50 years and their lead singer is in his 70s, but a re-release of their 1971 album can still debut in the top 5 in 2015 (on both charts). Ed Sheeran continues to put out successful singles off of his “X” album and that multiplies his sales. He’s still in the top 10 on the combined chart with sales just outside the top 10. Sam Hunt is 7th and Maroon 5 is following the same strategy as Ed and Taylor (all working their fourth single) and keeping “V” in the top 10 at 8th. Zac Brown Band is 9th and A$AP Rocky is 10th.
Fifth Harmony does its usual trick of not making the sales chart, but moving those singles and getting onto the combined chart at 31st. Now 54 makes both charts (18 on sales, 37th on combined) while featuring Tori Kelly, One Direction and Kelly Clarkson.
