Idol Sales News – Week Ending 01/10/10

Another hotly anticipated week for Idol numbers. This is the week that saw the first certification for a Season 8 Idol (for a download single). Nice to get the week Idol starts. Plus, this will serve as the baseline to see if the new season has any impact on sales for those from the previous seasons.

Album sales will continue to slump and those iTunes gift cards are almost used up, but the numbers roll on.
