The panel also included former “American Idol” judge Paula Abdul, former “American Idol” contestant Melinda Doolittle, and Barry Adelman, executive vice president of television at Dick Clark Productions. Carrie Underwood talks life on the road as Staples show arrives – When country superstar Carrie Underwood and her crew go on tour, they really go on tour. The current Blown Away outing, in support of the singer-songwriter’s fourth studio album of the same title, which dropped in May, has her on the road from now until Christmas. (She headlines Oct. 16 at Staples Center.) Not that she’s complaining. ‘DWTS’ Mark Ballas on Bristol Palin blowup: ‘At some point you fight’ – “Here’s the thing with these packages they show before our dance … they’re a minute and a half,” Ballas told reporters after the show. ”We then also had Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday which went beautifully. We left the studio to take a break, came in the next day and we were like, aaah, let’s move on and really knock it out, try to turn in the best performance we’ve had this season. We did just that. We’re fine. We’ve danced together before. This isn’t our first season together. The last season we did together, back in season 11, we didn’t argue once. Not even … nothing. Just chill.
