‘Jekyll & Hyde’ Revival Sets Spring Broadway Opening – Add the Frank Wildhorn musical “Jekyll & Hyde” to the list of shows being revived on Broadway not long after their last appearance there. A 25-week national tour of “Jekyll & Hyde” will begin this fall and then come to the Richard Rodgers Theater in New York in April 2013, according to a spokeswoman for the revival, confirming a Twitter post on Monday by the production’s star, Tony Award nominee Constantine Maroulis (“Rock of Ages”). – Read more at New York Times

A year after she chilled on the black carpet, Demi Lovato will be in the spotlight at the during the pre-show to the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards. Lovato will help get the ball rolling on the big night with a performance of her hit “Give Your Heart a Break” during the hour-long VMA pre-show, which will air live on September 6 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. ET/PT. Simon Cowell to make a return to this year’s X Factor ‘in some guise’ – But Simon Cowell looks set to make a triumphant return to the British version of the show during this year’s series.
