Kinnelon native Elise Testone performs on ‘Idol’ tour – It’s one big happy family rolling through America on a bus, according to the Kinnelon High School graduate. “We got really lucky with our personality types,” Testone says in a phone interview a few hours before a show in Washington, D.C., that comes at about the halfway point in the 45-date tour. “Usually when you’re with people and you’re in close quarters, you start disliking each other and fight more. Jordin Sparks to Sing National Anthem at Ryder Cup – “American Idol” winner Jordin Sparks is bringing her brand of pop and R&B to Illinois’ Medinah Country Club this fall. The “Sparkle” star will perform the National Anthem Sept. 27 at the 39th Ryder Cup Opening Ceremonies, event organizers announced Monday.
