Jennifer Hudson to Perform a Song from ‘Finding Neverland’ at the Tony Awards – Jennifer Hudson will perform a song from Harvey Weinstein’s Broadway-targeted musical version of “Finding Neverland” during the Tony Awards as part of a telecast that will showcase a bit of Broadway’s past and future as well as its present kudo contenders. James Wolpert of ‘The Voice’ fame makes a record with a little help from 660 friends – James Wolpert says that being on “The Voice” was a heady, once-in-a-lifetime experience he’d never trade.But, he says, “I’m trying not to rest on the laurels of what I’ve done before. … I’m moving forward.” The Lampeter-Strasburg High School graduate now is in Nashville, making a record that’s being engineered by the Grammy-winning Vance Powell. His record is being financed by a Kickstarter campaign, which drew to a close Tuesday. Here’s an interesting combo. Skylar Laine from American Idol season 11 and Scott MacIntyre of Season 8 recorded a duet together in Nashville yesterday. Skylar instagrammed a photo with the caption “Had so much fun recording a duet with this awesome guy, Scott MacIntyre today! He is a fellow idol alum and will be releasing an album soon! The song we are singing together is one he wrote for his wife called “With This Ring” yaaaay! Watch out for it!!!”

American Idol contestant Emily Piriz – Emily Piriz sang her way to the Top 13 on American Idol Season 13 and is now back home in Orlando to sing at a special event. She joined Good Day to talk about her experience on the show. Piriz said everyone on the show was like family and the experience is one she will never forget. ‘Survivor’: Redemption Island axed for new twist — EXCLUSIVE – As Entertainment Weekly Radio’s Survivor Week continues, the scoops keep coming from host Jeff Probst: Turns out Redemption Island won’t be a part of Survivor: San Juan Del Sur — Blood vs. Water after all. Probst had told EW back in May that the polarizing twist would return. But producers ended up having a change of heart and came up with a new addition to the game, much to the surprise of the players (which number 18 after two left the show for medical reasons, just 48 hours before shooting began). “We decided, we have this arena being built: What if instead of [Redemption Island], we use it for something else.
