CMT Announces New Acts to Perform on CMT Music Awards – The buzz surrounding the 2015 CMT Music Awards is heating up with the addition of six new acts to the performance bill. A Thousand Horses, Chris Janson, Frankie Ballard, Kelsea Ballerini, Maddie and Tae and RaeLynn will make the loudest night in country even louder with performances on the Nationwide Insurance stage. The slew of up-and-comers joins performers Eric Church, Florida Georgia Line, Jake Owen, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum, Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt, Zac Brown Band and lead nominee Carrie Underwood. Past Holiday World Performer And ‘American Idol’ Finalist To Visit Park – (SANTA CLAUS) – A former Holiday World performer who finished fourth in this year’s American Idol competition will be at the park Friday afternoon to meet fans and sign autographs. Rayvon Owen performed in the park’s Rejoice! show as well as the Legacy acappella group in 2011. Also a songwriter, his “Brand New Day” is featured in this year’s EPIC Praise show at Holiday World. This Friday, June 5, Owen will sign autographs and visit with park guests for an hour starting at 2pm CDT at the Hoosier Celebration Theater. The first 250 fans will receive a photo sheet showing the singer/songwriter as a Holiday World performer and in the present day. Candice Glover’s mom to hold fashion show; Candice to sing – Carole Glover loves to shop as much as her daughter, “American Idol” season 12 winner Candice Glover, loves to sing. She has said that she hits the malls whenever she accompanies Candice to events around the country. When Candice performed at the White House last year and needed an outfit for an afternoon event, she and her mom scoured Washington looking for the perfect ensemble. “Ever since I was younger, my mom would give me tips on the right things to wear and what looks good,” Candice said. “My mom is a fashionista!” Carole Glover’s passion for fashion will be on display Saturday at a fashion show at the Beaufort Holiday Inn. The event will feature 15 models wearing outfits selected by Carole Glover. There will be three sets to the show, red-and-white ensembles, seasonal outfits and evening wear.
