IDOL’s Will Makar & LaKisha Jones Set for Houston Symphony’s 4th of July Free Concert at Miller Outdoor Theatre – Houstonians looking for a fun-filled 4th of July celebration inside the city limits can head to Miller Outdoor Theatre for the Houston Symphony’s annual free concert, A Star-Spangled Salute. Principal Pops Conductor Michael Krajewski has planned a patriotic program of American melodies and toe-tapping tunes. Danny Gokey Headlining Rocklin’s ‘Celebrate America’ – Danny Gokey was an American Idol finalist back in 2009. Now he’s the voice that’s expected to draw 30,000 people to Rocklin’s Twin Oaks for Celebrate America. Kellie Pickler, Blake Shelton + Kix Brooks Get Animated for CMT’s ‘Bounty Hunters’ – Kellie Pickler, Blake Shelton and Kix Brooks will soon put their voices to use for something other than their music. The singers have each landed a guest-starring role on CMT’s new animated series, ”Bounty Hunters.” Pickler is set to play a mystery woman named Daisy, Shelton will voice rival bounty hunter Buck Masters, and Brooks will portray the role of a demolition derby expert. Booker T. Rehearses With ‘American Idol’ Alum Joshua Ledet and More for AXS TV Special – Booker T. takes the stage with a slew of special guests Tuesday night for a live concert event airing on Mark Cuban’s AXS TV. Brooke White Thinks Kelly Clarkson Should Judge ‘Idol’ – Brooke White‘s transitioning from the American Idol stage to TV with her starring role in the new Hallmark Channel movie, Banner 4th of July.
