“AMERICAN IDOL” TOUR – BOWERSOX & KELLY PREP FOR THE ROAD TRIP
Crystal Bowersox and Aaron Kelly are just two of the American Idol season nine Top 10 heading out on tour next month.
They’re both excited to meet the fans, sing in their own styles (without being judged) and are even looking forward to the tour bus, although Kelly’s mom will be riding along as a chaperone (Kelly is a 17-year-old minor).

Bo Bice talks music, family, and country
Bo Bice headlined Taste of Utica Saturday night, and before the show, I had a chance to sit down with him for a few minutes and catch up. The interview was in the Common Council Chamber of Utica’s City Hall, a rather odd locale, but one that amused Bo! Before we talked, he insisted on sitting in the mayor’s seat on the platform and posed for pictures.
I hadn’t talked to Bo in person since the ‘Idol’ tour show in Syracuse five years ago. That night was his first back on tour since having had major surgery, and while he kicked butt on stage, he was still in a lot of pain.

Edward picks fluff from John’s bleached quiff, John wipes a smear of soy sauce from Edward’s lip. “I suppose cardboard boxes can be broken though, ” he says, thoughtfully. “Especially if they get wet.” They confer, briefly, but I’m happy to wait.

Backstage at SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE on Thursday (June 17) night, Mia Michaels was not mincing words… not that she or any of the regular judges ever do.
When asked how she felt about week 1?s bottom 3, she spoke up willingly: “I actually was shocked at Cristina [being in that position]. I thought [it should’ve been] AdeChike. For me, he didn’t show any personality and I feel he’s very stiff in his movement. You know, I hope he gets better. I mean, that’s what the show’s about: getting better every single week. So hopefully he will.”

‘American Idol’s’ ‘Big Mike’ Lynche Talks First Father Day
It will be a very special Father’s Day for ‘American Idol‘ 2010 fourth-place finisher Michael “Big Mike” Lynche this weekend.
With a 4 1/2-month-old daughter, Laila Rose, Lynche has never been a dad on Father’s Day before.
“You see it differently when you think about your dad, ” Lynche, 27, told Fancast Thursday in L.A., at an event to prepare for the 51-city ‘American Idol Live!’ tour, which kicks off July 1 in Detroit. “You know it’s interesting, saying you are a dad or a father, it’s something that I have always looked forward to. My wife’s dad is kind of like my dad. When I see him, I just see it differently. I am still very young, and very much on the go. I am just trying to reach my dreams and goals in life.”
