Oscar champ Jennifer Hudson dishes show-stopping guest role on ‘Empire’ (Exclusive Video) – “I fell in love with it instantly,” declares Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson (“Dreamgirls”) about watching the pilot of Fox’s mega-hit “Empire” after series co-creator Lee Daniels asked her to considering doing a guest role. As she reveals during our recent webcam chat (watch below), “It was before the show had even started airing and I was like, I have to be a part of the show!” Hudson plays gospel-singing music therapist Michelle White, who was introduced late in the first season and appeared in three episodes. Although it seems likely we’ll see much more of her next season, the specifics of her storyline remain very much up in the air. “I can’t wait to find out!” admits the actress. “I wonder what will happen with Michelle and Andre (Trai Byers) and in a way I feel as though they’ll end up saving each other.” – See the Video at Gold Derby

Meghan Linsey Reflects on Her Time on ‘The Voice’: ‘I Believe in Risk’ – Meghan Linsey sang herself into the finals during Season 8 of The Voice, coming in second place while on Blake Shelton‘s team. It was so nerve-wracking, but I believe in risk. I took a risk, and I think it really paid off, and I feel good about that.” – Read more at The Boot

Constantine Maroulis Meets President George Bush

This happened a few weeks ago in Las Vegas at The Mastermind Summit, which is a convention for real estate and mortgage professionals.

Look I know what most of my friends and colleagues think of this man. I certainly did not vote for him but it is vital that we as a country respect the office of the #POTUS and what it stands for. To be honest I found him compelling and genuine as a speaker. We lost our first cousin in the south tower, my own mother’s brother lost his first born son. His words about that morning will always stay with me. He made some mistakes and he spoke of them. He told me he loved my performance both at #mastermind and on #americanidol even calling me dapper, talented and very sharp. That was nice. My mom enjoyed that. No matter your political views I still thought it was pretty cool and wanted to share. #potus #usa #wewillneverforget #peace #whitehouse #strategery #mastermindsummit????????????????????????????????????
