Maroon 5 cancel Liverpool Echo Arena show – Maroon 5 have cancelled their show tonight in Liverpool at the Echo Arena. Lead singer Adam Levine has been struck down with a throat problem and is unable to perform on doctor’s orders. “I am really sorry not to be able to perform tonight, but I have been told to rest up by the doctor,” Adam Levine said. “As a band we always want to give every performance our all and sadly I just cannot do that tonight.! A spokeswoman from the Arena confirmed there were already fans arriving at the arena for the long-awaited gig. – Read more at the Liverpool Echo

Darren Criss & Laura Osnes to Co-Host First Tony Awards Red Carpet Live Stream – The 2-hour, 30-minute special will air from 5:30pm to 8:00pm EST. For the first time ever, the TONY AWARDS will present “LIVE! From the Red Carpet,” a live-streamed red carpet special helmed by TV and Stage Star Darren Criss and two-time Tony Nominee Laura Osnes. Nick Fradiani Gives Second Connecticut Performance Since Winning “American Idol” – So how does it feel to be the new American Idol? “It’s funny because I always get asked that and I’m kind of like, I don’t know. One on one with American Idol finalist Tyanna Jones – JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Bright bold colors an even brighter smile and a powerful voice describes top five American Idol finalist Tyanna Jones as she entered The Chat dressing room Thursday afternoon, preparing for the program. FCN caught up with the busy 16-year-old Westside High School student right before her appearance on the show. Her hair featured five neon colors including her favorite color, purple. The room filled with constant laughter between Tyanna, her older sister and their mother, Tamara. They’re just three members of a large immediate family of 13. Joshua Davis relieved to finish 3rd on ‘The Voice’; ‘happy, concerned’ for Sawyer Fredericks – “I ended up in a perfect spot,” the northern Michigan-based singer-songwriter said in an interview a few days after viewers voted last week to make 16-year-old Sawyer Fredericks the winner of this season’s competition. “Some people are saying, ‘Oh man, you should have won.’ The whole time I’m thinking, ‘That’s OK. I got to learn. I got to meet a lot of wonderful people. I got a lot of experience, and I’m not tied to any contract.’ ” For that reason, the 37-year-old Earthwork Music artist and father of two frets about Fredericks, who Davis took under his wing during the competition. “I got to be very protective of him. He’s a kid,” Davis said of the young singer from upstate New York. “I’m happy and concerned. I’m mostly happy. … He’s a really, really sweet kid. The family is wonderful. But Colton Dixon will never forget his father’s face after Dixon unloaded some harsh words backstage at “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in 2011. “I made it through the top 40, and just being honest, you had so many people saying you’re great and you’re awesome and your poop doesn’t stink,” Dixon said. “I was very cocky, and I let it get to my head.
