The Season 11 American Idol finalist is turning out to be one of contemporary Christian music’s breakout success stories this year, and the tour headliners are taking notice. Third Day lead singer “Mac Powell’s joke every night is that my fans scream an octave higher than their fans,” says Dixon, who played Friday at David Lipscomb University’s Allen Arena in Nashville. “It’s normally the mamas bringing their pre-teen girls to the shows, so the little girls are screaming for me and their mamas are screaming for Third Day.” – Read more at USA Today
