American Idol: Florida Georgia Line and Jason Derulo detail their time as mentors – Who would you say are the frontrunners? KELLEY: I’d say Nick, if he gets the confidence to step outside of the guitar and step outside of being a band guy, and solidifies himself as a lead guy in that role. He’s got a good smile, the ladies like him, his voice is incredible, and as he continues to fine-tune his craft and where he thinks his music is headed, I think he could have a bright future and put up a good fight to win. – Read more at EW.com

Sawyer Fredericks talks about his latest advance on ‘The Voice’ – When it comes to music, 16-year-old Sawyer Fredericks has always been older than his years. His mother remembers Sawyer upstairs at their farmhouse in Fultonville, singing away with his “little angel-choirboy sound” about life and loss and darkness in a way that made sense for an old man. But a kid?
It made her wonder if something a little spooky was going on up there. “I’d be like, ‘Should I go get ghost hunters to go up in your room?'” – Read more at TimesUnion.com

Q&A with Chris Jamison of ‘The Voice – What was the best piece of advice Adam Levine gave you? I don’t know exactly how he worded it, but it was to never strive for perfection. A lot of times you go on the “Voice” stage, and you only have that one song to get you to the next round. During a commercial break, two times, he came up on stage and said: “Just sing the song. Don’t worry about anything else; don’t worry about what’s on the line here. Just keep it simple.” – Read more at Columbus Monthly

I work odd hours, so the day my girlfriend was supposed to leave, I woke her up around 3:30 a.m. to say goodbye and ‘left for the airport.’ I instead drove to the Detroit airport and got on her flight. After takeoff, a flight attendant announced that a debit card with my girlfriend’s name on it had been found. When they handed it to her, ‘See You Tonight’ by Scotty McCreery started playing. Oh hair! I tend to have a natural curl in my hair anyway, but not a whole lot. When I was in college I would put a lot of product in my hair and force it to be curly. The fourth installment in Colfer’s bestselling fantasy series for children, Beyond the Kingdoms finds brothers Connor and Alex embarking on new adventure and promises to unearth secrets from their past. Ryan Murphy is developing a lot of shows, from American Horror Story to Scream Queens . Would you consider working with him again on a series? I probably would not because my involvement with any of those shows would just seem like a Glee reunion [laughs], rather than an exciting, new project. I’m kind of just looking forward to different exciting things. – See the book cover at People.com
