Reportedly, according to a tweet from @ScottRicks, American Idol will be filming Taylor Hicks’ show at the Paris in Las Vegas tomorrow night–presumably for an upcoming episode of American Idol.

Drummer for Kellie Pickler in serious condition following I-65 crash – The accident happened Saturday morning around 11:30 a.m. Drummer Gregg Lohman was one of three people hurt in the four car crash. Lohman’s accident happened just 30 minutes after another crash in the northbound lanes of I-65 in the same area. Police say six members of a Wisconsin family were killed and two injured when their SUV was rear-ended by a tractor-trailer. Kellie Pickler released this statement about the accident on her Facebook page: “Yesterday, my drummer Gregg Lohman was in a horrific car accident and is currently in ICU. Gregg is not just my drummer, he is family. I believe in miracles and the power of prayer, so it would mean the world to me, my band, and Gregg’s family if you would please keep him in your prayers. Candice Glover goes back to ‘American Idol’ for third time with win in mind – “It didn’t seem like (my music career) was going anywhere,” Glover said. “I had a lot of time to think about what my next career move might be.” So far this season, “Idol” has repeatedly replayed the clip in which Glover was not chosen to advance last year. And it’s been very hard for her family to watch. ‘American Idol’ finalist Halperin talks Clarkson, music on TV, new album – After “Idol,” Halperin released his debut album, “Rise and Fall,” in 2011, and it hit No. 14 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Chart, which highlights new and emerging artists. Last week, Halperin opened for the first “American Idol” winner Kelly Clarkson at a benefit concert in Dallas for Opportunity Education, a foundation started by Joe Ricketts, founder of Omaha-based TD Ameritrade. P Diddy X Factor plea – So Diddy is chancing his arm by winding Simon up as a tactic to land a judging gig on the show. When asked by a US TV show if he’d fancy a job on the panel the multi-millionaire rap mogul said: “Simon’s pockets are kind of tight and I have these six kids to feed so he needs to step up.” If he gives Diddy the job Simon will have to up the hygiene levels on the judging desks. – Read more at The

Susan Boyle to Make Feature Film Debut – LONDON – Susan Boyle will make her feature film debut in John Stephenson’s The Christmas Candle, which also stars Hans Matheson (Clash of the Titans), Samantha Barks (Les Miserables) and Lesley Manville (Another Year). “Everyone on set is a delight to work with, and it’s a fantastic experience to be part of the team,” Boyle said, adding that she “can’t believe” she is working on the project. “I’m really enjoying getting dressed in the period costumes and stepping back in time, and although it’s very cold filming on location, I’m wearing long johns under my bustle.” – Read more at The Hollywood Reporter
