Local chanteuse, Cape Cod Chamber to honor Patti Page this Thursday in Hyannis – Former American Idol finalist and native Cape Codder Siobhan Magnus will debut her new single “Old Cape Cod” this Thursday, February 28 at Puritan Cape Cod in Hyannis. Magnus, who hails from Marstons Mills, will release the Patti Page cover at a special signing that day. Magnus will be at Puritan at 1 p.m. to sign records for fans. The limited edition vinyl 45 will be available for purchase that day. Fifty-percent of the $25 for the record will go to the Cape & Islands United Way to establish the Siobhan Magnus Challenge Day Fund. The fund will be geared towards helping Cape Cod students faced with bullying. The brother-sister pair is developing a Starz scripted drama set in the world of competitive ballroom dancing, for which they will draw on years of first-hand experiences as competitors at the world championship level.
